Dr Michael Zhao

Dr Zhao completed his undergraduate medical degree with a Major in Anaesthesiology at Tianjin Medical University, China in 2005. He immigrated to Australia and obtained a Diplomat of Emergency Medicine, ACEM and Fellowship of RACGP. He is currently in Pain Medicine training, expecting to obtain the Fellowship of FPMANZCA in 07/2024.

Dr Zhao has established a wide range of knowledge and experience in the management of cancer pain, non-cancer-related chronic pain and acute pain. He is passionate about developing individualised holistic pain management to reach the ultimate goal: improving his clients’ quality of life. He believes in compounding sustained pain relief with a combination of non-pharmaceutical, pharmaceutical and pain procedural treatment via a multidisciplinary team approach.
